It was my mother's dream to send me to college regardless of the sacrifices she would have to make. I believe higher education was then, and is now, a key element in the pursuit of a successful and fulfilled life.
Throughout my 35-year career in student financial aid administration, most of which I spent at Nazareth, my goal was to extend opportunities to students to learn, achieve, blossom, and move on to share all that they had become.
Upon my mother's death, I established the Vivian Chapman Memorial Scholarship at Nazareth to honor this loving and talented woman. I've rewritten my will to include a significant gift to expand this scholarship and the heritage of meaningful opportunity it provides to students at Nazareth.
